WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Join the March to the Tournament. William & Mary women's basketball is the No. 8 seed in the 2026 Credit Union 1 CAA Women's Basketball Championship, March 11-15 in Washington, D.C.
The Tribe faces No. 9 seed N.C. A&T in the CAA Second Round on Thursday, March 12, at 12:00 p.m. inside CareFirst Arena. The winner advances to the CAA Quarterfinals to meet No. 1 seed Charleston on Friday, March 13, at 12:00 p.m.

CareFirst Arena Bag Policy
CareFirst Arena utilizes walk-through EVOL detectors for screening patrons at most events. Patrons may not enter CareFirst Arena with bags, backpacks, purses, or luggage. Wallet-size clutches no larger than 5" x 7", medical bags or parenting/diaper bags no larger than 14" x 14" x 6" are permitted. Any medical or parenting bags (child must be present) that are exempted are subject to security screening. Please note, there are no bag checks or bag storage locations available to the public at CareFirst Arena. Events DC reserves the right to confiscate items within the arena that may cause a danger or disruption to the event or to other guests. Events DC reserves the right to amend the prohibited items list at their discretion.
Team Sendoff
Fans are invited to join the Tribe cheerleaders and pep band in sending off the team from the Vignette Collection Yours Truly DC (1143 New Hampshire Avenue NW Washington D.C. 20037). The sendoff will begin around 9:30 a.m.
Fan Bus
A fan bus will be available at the team hotel (Vignette Collection Yours Truly DC, 1143 New Hampshire Avenue NW Washington D.C. 20037) to transport any fans to the arena and back. The bus will leave the hotel immediately following the sendoff. At the conclusion of the game, the bus will depart the arena and head back to the hotel.
Tickets
Fans can purchase tickets for the 2026 Credit Union 1 CAA Championship through the Tribe Ticket Office and via TicketMaster. W&M fans can purchase all-session books through the
Tribe Ticket Office at TribeAthletics.com. Single-session tickets can be purchased directly through the CAA or on
TicketMaster.com. Will call and general sales for the tournament are located at the SW Entrance of the CareFirst Arena, off of Oak Street.
Traveling via Metro
Fans are encouraged to use public transportation to travel to CareFirst Arena. The Arena is located directly adjacent to the Congress Heights Metro Station on the Green Line. The Arena is a 3-minute walk from the station. Follow directional signage through the Kiss & Ride parking lot, alongside the Sycamore & Oak and turn right into Oak Dr. SE. Visit

Students Tickets
All student tickets can be purchased through the CareFirst Arena Box Office at a cost of $5 and are valid for the session in which William & Mary is participating. A valid William & Mary student ID is needed to purchase tickets at the $5 rate. If students are planning on attending another session that William & Mary is not participating, they will need to purchase a standard adult rate ticket.
The first 64 students from each institution participating in the first game of a session will be provided with a color-coded wristband which will allow them to sit in Section 101 and 111 behind their team's band for their game only. Any students above the initial 64 will be seated at the 200-level depending on availability.

CBS Sports Network will televise the 2026 CAA Tournament Championship, while the first and second rounds, quarterfinals and semifinals will be broadcast on FloCollege. The CAA Championship game is set for 2 p.m. Sunday on CBS Sports Network.
