Last Meeting vs. George Mason
W&M opened its 2024 season with an 11-10 overtime loss against George Mason at The St. James in Springfield, Va. After neither team scored during the initial 3-minute session of overtime, Mason's Morgan Gunn tallied the game-winner off an assist from Hailey Zutic with 2:00 remaining on the clock. W&M led by two late in regulation, but the Patriots evened the score with a pair of goals by Shannon Tuozzo and Kate Elam in the final two minutes. Mason took its largest lead of the game, 7-5, early in the third quarter, but W&M rallied back by scoring five of the next six goals to earn a 10-8 advantage midway through the fourth quarter before Mason's final flurry sent the game to overtime. No team led by more than two goals and any point during the game, while the tightly contested matchup featured six ties and six lead changes. The Tribe utilized a balanced attack offensively as eight different players scored at least one goal.

A-10 Matchups
Saturday's contest at George Mason will be the third of four games on W&M's schedule against teams in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Tribe fell to George Washington (14-8) and Richmond (16-11), while it also has an upcoming matchup versus VCU on March 4.

Last Time Out
W&M fell to Richmond, 16-11, at Martin Family Stadium on Wednesday evening. The Tribe trailed by just three, 11-8, early in the fourth quarter, but UR rattled off a 5-1 run to build a seven-goal advantage with 6:12 remaining. W&M scored the contest's final two goals but was unable to get closer than the final margin, as the Spiders secured the non-conference victory. Kate Draddy led the Tribe with four points (2g, 2a), six draw controls, a career-high four caused turnovers and five ground balls, while Grace Walter (2g), Mila Millhouse (2g), Taylor McCall (2g) and Nora Begley (1g, 1a) added two points apiece.

Big Margin
W&M's 20-5 victory against Longwood in its home opener marked the program's largest margin of victory since its 21-3 win at Stetson in 2013. Millhouse finished the week with team highs in points (8) and goals (6), while she also recorded a pair of assists, two ground balls and a caused turnover. Additionally, she posted a .500 shooting percentage.

Record Watch
Kate Draddy currently ranks fourth all-time at W&M in draw controls (143) and needs 11 more to pass Grace Golden for third in the Tribe's all-time record book. Additionally, she has 31 career assists and needs 10 more to move into the Tribe's all-time top-10 list.
