- While UNCW leads the all-time series at 51-33, W&M has won 14 of the last 25 meetings between the teams dating back to 2013. The Seahawks have won the last four meetings in Williamsburg, but previously the Tribe had won eight in a row at home vs. UNCW.
- W&M's 57.9% shooting in its victory over N.C. A&T was its best in CAA play since 2023. The Tribe has shot 50% or better on seven occasions this season. In the second half vs. the Aggies, the Green and Gold shot 66.7%, marking the seventh time W&M connected at 60+% clip in a half this season. Nationally, the Tribe ranks 50th in field goal % (48.1) and 42nd in 2-point % (57.3).
- The Tribe scored 97 points in its victory over North Carolina A&T on Jan. 15. It marked the most points for the Tribe in a CAA game since it had 114 in an overtime victory over Charleston at Kaplan Arena in 2018. On the year, the Tribe ranks 56th nationally and second in the CAA in scoring at 83.7 points per game.

Tunde Vahlberg Fasasi has increased his production in CAA play, averaging five more points per game up to 15.5, which ranks 13th in the league. In conference games, he is shooting 50% from the field, which is fifth in the league, while hitting 2.2 3-pointers per game. Vahlberg Fasasi has scored in double figures in five-straight contests, including 22 against both Stony Brook (12/31) and at Charleston (1/5).
- W&M dished out a season-high 28 assists in its win over N.C. A&T. The total ranks fifth in school history and is the most against a DI foe since 2016. The Tribe is averaging 18.9 assists per game this season, which leads the CAA and ranks 12th in the country. The Tribe is also eighth nationally in assist rate, assisting on 65.5% of its field goals. A season ago, W&M was 10th in assist rate (62%) and 25th at 16.5 assists per game.
Brian Earl-coached teams have ranked in the top 33 nationally in assist rate each of the last five years.
- The Tribe recorded a season-high 15 steals and forced 19 turnovers at Drexel on Jan. 10 after tallying 14 steals at Charleston on Jan. 5. The 15 steals rank eighth in school history and are the fourth most against a Division I opponent. It was the program's most against a DI foe since 1998 when it had 16 at The Citadel. On the year, the Tribe leads the CAA in both turnovers forced (15.9) and steals (9.1), while ranking 11th and 34th in the country, respectively. The Tribe averages 18.8 points per game off turnovers.
- With its pace, W&M ranks 11th nationally in fastbreak points per game at 17.7. The Tribe is 10-2 over the last two seasons under head coach
Brian Earl when scoring 20 or more fast break points in a game. In three of the last four seasons, Earl-coached team have ranked among the top 20 nationally in fast break points. W&M was 16th (14.4) last season in the category, while Cornell ranked second in 2022-23 (15.9).
- The Tribe possesses a balanced attack offensively with eight players averaging at least 6.5 points per game, including four in double figures. In total 12 of the Tribe's 13 players that have seen action in 2025-26 have scored in double figures at least once and nine different players have led the team.
- W&M is once again among the fastest-paced teams in the country. According to KenPom.com (as of Jan. 21), the Tribe leads the country in fastest average length of possession on offense (13.4 seconds) and ranks fifth in adjusted tempo (74.1). - Bench scoring has been a staple for head coach
Brian Earl's teams. This season, the Tribe is averaging 32.3 points per game from its reserves, which leads the CAA and ranks 28th in the country, as of Jan. 21. W&M's leading scorer has come off the bench in seven of its 12 wins this season. Last year, the Tribe ranked eighth nationally in bench scoring (31.9) after Earl's final Cornell team led the country in 2023-24 (36.0).

Chase Lowe reached a pair of career milestones with his 500th career rebound vs. ODU and his 250th assist at Duquesne. He ranks 15th in school history in assists (288) and is nine away from 14th place. Lowe is one of just six players in school history with 500 rebounds and 250 assists, joining an elite list of John Lowenhaupt '78, David Schneider '10, Omar Prewitt '17, Terry Tarpey '16, and Nathan Knight '20. He ranks fifth in the CAA this season in assists (4.3) and 20th in rebounding (5.3).

Gabe Dorsey (Slovakia),
Caleb Dorsey (Slovakia), and
Matteus Case (Portugal) signed professional contracts in Europe. In total, 10 former Tribe standouts are playing professionally overseas, including Miguel Ayesa (Spain), David Cohn (Germany), Nathan Knight (South Korea), Anders Nelson (Romania), Terry Tarpey (France), Marcus Thornton (Romania), and Andy Van Vliet (Germany). Daniel Dixon '17, who won an NBA title as an assistant with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2025, was named the head coach of the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunder's NBA G-League affiliate, in August. Alums Chris Darnell '09 (Sacramento Kings) and Sean Sheldon (Utah Jazz) are also currently NBA assistant coaches.
