WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary head baseball coach Rob McCoy announced the addition of Kelly Corl as volunteer assistant coach on Tuesday afternoon.

"We're really excited for Kelly to join the Tribe!" McCoy said. "He brings a wealth of championship experience as a player, leader, and coach. He knows our core value system and believes strongly in the mental game. I am eager to watch him work tirelessly to contribute to the success of Tribe baseball."

Corl comes to Williamsburg after spending a season a year as a graduate assistant at Niagara where he worked with the team's infielders, catchers, and mental performance. He played two seasons under McCoy at Niagara from 2023-24 and was captain of the 2024 squad that won the MAAC Tournament championship and made the NCAA Regionals for the first time in program history.

The Seattle native played and started in 52 games for the Purple Eagles that season, batting .282 with 46 runs, four home runs and a career-high 36 RBI. As a junior in 2023, Corl posted a .326 average and racked up 60 hits and 33 RBI while slugging .451. He also earned MAAC All-Academic Team honors.

Prior to Niagara, Corl played one season at Paradise Valley Community College (2021-22) and spent two years at the University of Washington (2019-21) where he began his career. He was a First Team Washington 3A All-State and First Team All-Metro selection out of O'Dea High School in Seattle.
