WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary baseball will conclude the home portion of the regular season as they welcome Northeastern to Plumeri Park for a three-game series. The start of Friday's game has been pushed back to a 6:25 p.m. first pitch. Both Saturday and Sunday's game will get underway at 1 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to arrive at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday for the senior day ceremony on the field.
LAST TIME OUT
A late rally fell just short as W&M nearly overcame a four-run deficit in the late innings, falling to George Mason 8-7 on Wednesday evening. The Tribe out-hit the Patriots 13-6 but was hurt by 16 runners left on base. INF
Jamie Laskofski went 2-for-5 with three RBI, while center fielder
Ben Parker extended his school-record hitting streak to 34 games, going 3-for-4 with two walks as he reach base safely five times.
NEARING HISTORY... AGAIN
Parker's 34-game hitting streak is now tied for the longest streak in CAA history. The record is currently shared by three other players: Chris Baker (Old Dominion), Matt Townsend (James Madison), and Mark Brockell (James Madison). Parker already broke the school record on Sunday against Charleston that previously stood at 32 games (Ben Guez, 2008).
The Los Altos, Calif. native has put up video game numbers this year, ranking second in the nation in hits with 86. He's also ninth in batting average (.424), sixth in doubles (22), seventh in total bases (144), and 14th in runs (63). He leads the CAA seven different statistical categories.

RHP
Daniel Lingle leads the nation with 28 games pitched. The sophomore hurler has racked up 24 strikeouts over 32.0 innings of work.

RHP
Zach Boyd has racked up 10 strikeouts in his last two outings. The freshman has a 1.98 ERA with an 11/2 strikeout-to-walk ratio since April 22.
TWENTY-TWENTY CLUB
W&M is one of two teams in Division I (Dayton) with multiple players that have posted hitting streaks of 20+ games, with Parker (34 games) and Carmichael (23) both reaching that plateau.
CARDIAC TRIBE
W&M has 15 come-from-behind wins this year out of their 20 total victories. The Tribe has won five games in which they trailed by at least four runs, in addition to three walk-off wins.
STAT NUGGETS
- W&M leads the CAA in batting average (.319), which ranks eighth nationally, and paces the conference in hits (535), runs (360), and on-base percentage (.402).
- C Jerry Barnes III has thrown out 17 runners attempting to steal, ranking second in the CAA, despite missing 14 games.
- OF Lucas Carmichael ranks 11th nationally with 77 hits on the season. He's also collected 122 total bases, ranking him 71st in Division I.
- INF Owen Wilson is perfect in his last 10 games defensively at shortstop, going 29-for-29 on total chances.
- RHP Carter Lovasz' save on Friday night was the 21st save of his career, extending his program record set last season.
- RHP Tyler Kelly has registered scoreless outings in four of his last five games.

AROUND THE CAA
W&M enters the series with a 13-8 league record which is tied for second place in the CAA standings with UNCW. The Seahawks hold the tiebreaker over W&M for winning the head-to-head matchup back in April. The Tribe is three games ahead of Charleston and Delaware for the sixth and final spot in the CAA Tournament, held May 21-25 in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
Northeastern leads the nation with a 17-game winning streak and sits atop the league table at 19-2. In fourth place is Elon (12-9) while Campbell (11-10) sits fifth. The Tribe holds the tiebreaker over both squads. The top two teams in the standings receive a bye in the tournament.
SERIES HISTORY
W&M has a 28-24 edge in the all-time series against the Huskies and has won three straight. The Tribe beat NU in the CAA Tournament last season. The most recent series matchup was in 2023 when the Tribe won two of three games in Williamsburg.
