RICHMOND, Va. – After posting tremendous performances in the William & Mary lacrosse team's pair of contests last week, redshirt freshman Molly Delaney was honored as the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Week.

Delaney finished the week with a team-high six caused turnovers and two ground balls.

The Garnet Valley, Pa., native's best performance came in the victory against Campbell when she totaled a career-best four caused turnovers and a ground ball.

She also came up big in the one-goal setback a ECU when she recorded a pair of caused turnovers and a ground ball.

A starter in all 16 games this season, Delaney ranked second on the team in caused turnovers (18) to go with 20 ground balls.

Delaney's honor marks the second time this season a W&M standout earned CAA Rookie of the Week distinction, as Alexis Savage garnered the accolade on March 10.
