WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — After excelling on the field and in the classroom, four William & Mary lacrosse standouts were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team.
Kate Draddy,
Anna Dawson,
Claire Doto and
Finley Hoffman garnered the distinction. The honor marks the second consecutive year Draddy has earned the accolade.
All four standouts were starters for the Tribe this season and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better.
The impressive group highlighted another outstanding year academically for the program, as the team posted a cumulative combined GPA of 3.46 in 2024-25. Additionally, 14 Tribe Lax standouts earned W&M's Provost Award for academic excellence.
Draddy ranked among the CAA's top 10 in ground balls per game (2.13) this spring, while her 55 draw controls ranks eighth on W&M's single-season list. She also led the team in ground balls (34) and ranked third in goals (26) and assists (8). Additionally, she posted eight multi-goal efforts with six hat tricks with a .542 shooting percentage.
Dawson tied for the team lead in goals (37) this season and ranked third with 42 points. The Collegeville, Pa., native recorded 11 multi-goal performances with six hat tricks and posted a .507 shooting percentage.
A team captain, Doto ranked third on the team in draw controls (36) and caused turnovers (21). One of the Tribe's top defenders, she also totaled 21 ground balls.
An outstanding all-around player, Hoffman ranked tied for eighth in the CAA in ground balls per game in conference play (2.25) and was third on the squad in ground balls (30). Additionally, she posted seven multi-goal games and finished the season with 20 points (19g, 1a), 10 caused turnovers and five draw controls.
