WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The William & Mary baseball team will square off against Campbell for a three-game CAA series this weekend at Plumeri Park. First pitch times are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday. All games will be streamed on FloSports.

The Tribe was unable to hold on to a late lead as they fell to Longwood 8-6 on Tuesday. OF
Lucas Carmichael led the offense, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI, including a three-run homer in the fourth. It was Carmichael's first multi-homer game and tied a career-high in RBI (Feb. 16 vs. Rhode Island).

Carmichael's pair of home runs against Longwood gave him eight homers in his last 14 games. The senior from Chester, Va. now ranks second on the team in taters. His .607 slugging percentage is .231 points higher than his previous career high (.376 in 2023) and ranks ninth in the CAA. He also ranks third in total bases with 91.

Christian Rush keyed Saturday's come-from-behind victory over UNCW with a go-ahead grand slam in the sixth inning. It was the Tribe's first grand slam of the season, and the first overall since
Henry Jackson cleared the bases on April 13, 2024 against N.C. A&T. In the CAA leader boards, Rush ranks second in RBI (42), third in home runs (11), and fourth in total bases (87).

Carter Lovasz recorded a career-high nine strikeouts in five innings of relief to help W&M top UNCW in extras. The senior threw 84 pitches and held the Seahawks' offense to just one hit as he earned his team-leading third win of the year.

Daniel Lingle ranks fourth in all of Division I with 20 pitching appearances. Lingle has been equally effective as of late, registering eight straight appearances without an earned run. Since March 28 vs. Hofstra, he has a 0.00 ERA and .185 BAA.

After nabbing a runner against Longwood, LHP
Nick Lottchea has four pickoffs this season, ranking second in the CAA. For his career, the crafty left-hander has recorded nine pickoffs, tied for sixth-most in program history.

- The Tribe continues to pace the CAA in batting average (.311), runs (267), and triples (11). They also rank second in slugging (.467).
- Parker leads the CAA in hits (61), runs (45), and total bases (98), while ranking second in batting average (.404).
