- Thursday's game will be W&M's second vs. Hofstra this season after opening league play with a 74-56 win over the Pride on Jan. 2. Games between the Tribe and Pride have been close over the years with 16 of the last 32 meetings, dating back to 2010, being decided by six or fewer points, including 10 contests decided by a single-possession.
- The Tribe is one of 17 teams nationally that are undefeated at home this season, as of Feb. 11. W&M is 10-0 at Kaplan Arena, the sixth longest single-season streak in school history and the best since 2016-17 (12). Overall, W&M is riding a 11-game home court win streak, the 12th-best active streak in the country.

Gabe Dorsey led the Tribe in scoring in each of the last two contests, averaging 18 per game. In CAA play, Dorsey has upped his scoring average to 13.8 per contest, which ranks 22nd in the league. A preseason All-CAA First Team pick, he erupted for a career-high 30 points in the win over Hampton on Jan. 23 and surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career.

Kyle Pulliam is averaging 14.3 points per game, while shooting 63.6% (14-of-22) from the floor. He poured in a season-high 18 to lead the Tribe to a win over Charleston and then made his first start for W&M at Drexel, tallying 15 points on a perfect 5-of-5 from the field.
- The Tribe dished out 27 helpers on its 33 made field goals in the win over Charleston on Feb. 3. That total ranks 11th on W&M's single-game list, and the Tribe only turned it over five times against CofC. It was the second time this season the Tribe turned the ball over just five times in a game. W&M ranks 21st nationally in assists per game (16.9) and 14th in assist rate, assisting on 61.8% of its made field goals.
- The Tribe connected on 14 3-pointers in the win over Charleston on Feb. 3, which marked the 14th game with 10 or more 3-pointers this season. W&M is 11-3 when it knocks down 10 or more 3's in a game.
- W&M has scored 43.1% (856-of-1986) of its points off the bench and is averaging 34.2 points per game, which ranks seventh nationally. W&M relies on its bench for significant minutes as well and ranks 20th nationally in % of minutes played off the bench (41.2%) according to KenPom.com.
- In the Tribe's win over Monmouth on Jan. 25, W&M rallied from an 11-point deficit with 13:05 remaining thanks in large part to a 14-0 run. It marked the Tribe's first double-digit comeback under head coach
Brian Earl, and the program's first since 2021 when it overcame a 14-point deficit to top Northeastern at home.

Isaiah Mbeng was named the CAA Rookie of the Week on Jan. 27 after averaging 7.3 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.3 steals across three games. He is one of three multiple time honorees in the league this season. Mbeng also received the award on Jan. 6.
- Mbeng leads the Tribe and ranks among the CAA top 10 in assists (seventh at 3.2), assist-to-turnover ratio (third at 2.16), and steals (sixth at 1.4). He also ranks among the top freshmen in the country, coming in sixth nationally among rookies in a/t ratio, 14th in steals, and 16th in assists, as of Feb. 11.

Gabe Dorsey is known for his ability to shoot the basketball. He ranks 25th nationally in total 3-pointers (74), 42nd in 3-pointers made per game (2.92), and 53rd in 3FG% (40.3). He is W&M's career leader in 3's per game (3.16), while ranking third in total 3-pointers (262), just 16 shy of second place.
- After a slow start in close games, the Tribe has won its last five decided by six or fewer points, including three in CAA play. W&M lost its first four games decided by a six or fewer points, falling at Winthrop, vs. NC Central, at App State, and at ODU by a combined 11 points.
- The Tribe has used a balanced attack this season. In total, 12 different W&M players have scored in double figures in a game, which is the fourth most in the country and most in the CAA. Ten different players are averaging at least five points per game, and seven have led W&M in scoring in a game this season.
- W&M possesses the top offense in the CAA, leading the league in effective field goal % (54.5), 3-pointers made (10.5), assists (16.9), 3-pointers attempted (30.5), and fast-break points (15.5). The Tribe is second in the league in scoring (79.4).

Brian Earl-coached teams are known among the fastest paced in the country. According to KenPom.com, W&M ranks 18th nationally in adjusted tempo (71.5) and second in shortest average possession length (14.7).
- Three-point shooting has been a key piece of Earl's offense, and W&M is one of the top teams in the country from distance this season. W&M ranks third nationally in % of field goal attempts coming from 3 (51.7%), seventh in 3-pointers attempted per game (30.5), 14th in 3-pointers made per game (10.5), and 30th in % of scoring from 3-pointers (38.8%).
