GREENWOOD, Ind. — William & Mary women's soccer had six student-athletes recognized to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
The five honorees included Nora Green-Orset, Leila Greene, Sheridan Brummett, Ivey Crain, Molly Widderich, and Lindsay Wilson.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Each institution is limited to six nominees for soccer.
Nora Green-Orset
Major: Biology
Started 12 of her 14 appearances … Scored a goal in the Tribe's win over Northeastern … Two-time CSC Academic All-District selection.
Leila Greene
Major: Marketing
Started all 18 games as a defender, logging 1,216 minutes of action … Two-time CAA Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient.
Ivey Crain
Major: Finance
Started all 18 games… Led the team with six goals, including four game-winners… Racked up 66 shots and 30 SOG… Earned Third Team All-CAA honors.
Molly Widderich
Major: Public Policy
Third-team All-CAA selection after starting all 18 games as a defensive midfielder… Logged 1,595 minutes on the field… Dished out two assists.
Sheridan Brummett
Major: Kinesiology & Health Sciences
Started all 18 games… Tied for second on the team with four goals… For the season had nine points and 17 shots.
Lindsay Wilson
Major: Finance
Started all 18 games as a junior… Her four goals and 10 points tied for second on the team… Also had two assists and 26 shots.
