RICHMOND, Va. — Sophomore midfielder Mia Abbey was named to the Preseason All-CAA Team, while William & Mary was selected to finish third in the CAA South Division preseason poll, the conference announced Monday. Senior defender Molly Widderich and senior midfielder Lindsay Wilson earned Preseason All-CAA honorable mention recognition.

Abbey put together an impressive freshman campaign in 2025, earning All-CAA Third Team and All-CAA Rookie Team honors along with CAA Rookie of the Week recognition. The Elmer, N.J., native started 14 of her 17 appearances, totaling one goal and three assists for five points while recording 34 shots, including 19 on goal.
