WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary volleyball will head to Long Island for a pair of CAA matches at Stony Brook this weekend. The series will get underway at 5 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 1 p.m. Saturday matinee.
Both matches will be streamed on FloSports, with live stats and social coverage available from @WMTribeVB.
LAST TIME OUT
The Tribe was swept by Campbell in the CAA opener at Kaplan Arena last weekend.
Devereaux Hoxsie racked up a season-high 13 kills in Friday's match. On Saturday, sophomore setter
Cate Hatfield saw extended action, dishing out 10 assists to mark a season-high.
DEFENSIVE STALWART
Avery Horejsi has climbed up the national ranks in digs, averaging 4.43 digs per set which stands 44th in Division I. Her 204 digs on the season also place her in the top-100 nationally. The White Lake, Mich. native poured in 26 digs against Campbell on Friday, her second-most in a match this season.
BIG BLOCKS
The Tribe comes in 16th in Division I in blocks per set with 2.89, a figure that leads the CAA. placing seventh with an average of 3.05. Their 133.0 total blocks are the most through 13 matches in the current scoring era (since 2008), and the most overall since 2005.
Ryann Love leads the way with 1.45 blocks per set, ranking 22nd in the nation.
STILL JUST FRESHMEN
Speaking of blocks, a pair of freshmen middle blockers in
Olivia Westfort and
Damisi Osibodu teamed up to stuff 10 attacks in Saturday's match against Campbell. Westfort notched four block assists, giving her 23.0 total blocks for the season, while Osibodu added six.
ALL-TOURNEY HONORS
Audrey Brcka was named to the Erie Insurance Invitational All-Tournament Team at James Madison on Sep. 20-21, racking up 29 kills, 11 digs, and four blocks over three matches.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Stony Brook enters the weekend 7-6 overall and 3-1 in the CAA. The Seawolves swept Hampton last weekend following a series split at home against Northeastern.
Senior Kali Moore leads the team in kills with 181, ranking top-100 nationally. Freshman Ava Zamora is among the nation's leaders in service aces with 28, good for 14th in Division I and tops in the CAA.
