- W&M and Hampton meet for the second time in a week, following the Tribe's 67-64 victory at Hampton on Jan. 16. The teams meet for the 30th time in the last 30 seasons with W&M holding a 19-10 advantage. W&M has won eight of the last 10 meetings and four of the five since the Pirates joined the CAA.
- Prior to its setback on Monday at UNCW, the Tribe started CAA play at 5-0 for just the fourth time in program history. W&M also started 5-0 in 1982-83, 2017-18, and 2019-20 . Overall, the Tribe started 5-0 in conference play for only the eighth time in the program's 109-year history of conference membership.

Kyle Pulliam has made an impact since returning to the lineup. Over the last two games, he is averaging 12.5 points, two rebounds, and 2.5 assists in just 14.5 minutes, while shooting 80% (8-of-10) from the floor, including 4-of-6 from 3. Pulliam tallied 13 points in 12 minutes at Hampton. On the year, he ranks third on the team at 10.6 points per game.
- After a slow start in close games, the Tribe has won its last four decided by six or fewer points, including a pair of three-point wins vs. N.C. A&T and at Hampton. W&M lost its first four games decided by a six or fewer points, falling at Winthrop, vs. NC Central, at App State, and at ODU by a combined 11 points.

Gabe Dorsey is closing in on the 1,000-point mark for his career and at W&M. He enters the week just 22 points away from 1K for his career and 37 shy of the mark in his three seasons with the Tribe. Dorsey, a preseason All-CAA First Team pick, is tied for the team lead at 12 points per game this season. Over his W&M career, he is averaging 12.5 points per game across 77 starts.

Matteus Case enjoyed the best CAA game of his career. He led all scorers with 18 points on 6-of-6 shooting and 6-of-7 at the free throw line, but more importantly, he converted a pair of 3-point plays in the final 1:07 to lift the Tribe to victory. In CAA play, he is averaging nearly 10 points per game (9.5).

Caleb Dorsey has been key in the Tribe winning seven of its last nine games. He has produced four double-digit scoring games during the stretch. In CAA play, Dorsey is averaging 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, which rank 25th and 22nd in the league, respectively. He had 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists in the win at Hampton.
- The Tribe has used a balanced attack this season. In total, 12 different W&M players have scored in double figures in a game, which is the third most in the country. Ten different players are averaging nearly five points per game, and seven have led W&M in scoring in a game this season.
- W&M possesses the top offense in the CAA, leading the league in scoring (81.0), effective field goal % (56.5), 3-pointers made (11.3), assists (17.3), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.36), 3-pointers attempted (30.6), and fast-break points (15.0). The Tribe is second in the league in 3-point % (36.8) and field goal % (47.0).

Keller Boothby is averaging nearly 10 points per game (9.8), shooting 18-of-34 (52.9%) from 3 over the last seven games. After scoring a season-high 19 vs. Elon, he hit the game-winning 35-foot buzzer-beater to knock off N.C. A&T on Jan. 11. According to KenPom.com, Boothby ranks 18th nationally in effective FG% (.668) and 29th in true shooting % (.672).

Isaiah Mbeng was named the CAA Rookie of the Week on Jan. 6 following W&M's road wins at Hoftra and Stony Brook. He tallied a career-high 15 points in the win at Stony Brook. On the year, Mbeng leads the team and ranks third in the CAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.37), seventh in assists (3.4), and ninth in steals (1.3). In CAA play, he is averaging 4.5 assists, which ranks fourth in the league.
- The Tribe has connected on double-digit 3-pointers in 12 games this season, including eight of the last 10 contests. W&M is 9-3 when it knocks down 10 or more 3-pointers in a game.

Brian Earl-coached teams are known among the fastest paced and highest scoring in the country. According to KenPom.com, W&M ranks 43rd nationally in adjusted tempo (70.7) and 10th in shortest average possession length (15.2). The Tribe ranks 48th nationally in scoring at 81.0 points per game.
- Three-point shooting has been a key piece of Earl's offense, and W&M is one of the top teams in the country from distance this season. W&M ranks fourth nationally in % of field goal attempts coming from 3 (51.6%) and 3-pointers made per game (11.3), seventh in % of scoring from 3-pointers (41%), 10th in 3-pointers attempted per game (30.6), and 51st in 3-point % (.368).
- Nearly half of W&M's points have come off the bench. The Tribe has scored 45.1% (694-of-1539) of its points off the bench and is averaging 36.5 points per game from its reserves, which ranks sixth nationally. W&M relies on its bench for significant minutes as well and ranks 31st nationally in % of minutes played off the bench (39.1%) according to KenPom.com.
