RICHMOND, Va. — William & Mary sophomore
Aiden Bond has been named the CAA Men's Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The honor comes on the heels of two first-place individual and relay finishes against Davidson on Saturday at the Rec Center. Bond swam a pool-record time of 43.94 in the 100 freestyle, which stands as fourth-fastest in the CAA this season. He also posted a winning time of 19.93 in the 50 freestyle, tied for fourth in the conference.
In the 200 yard medley relay, Bond helped the Tribe finish in first with a time of 1:28.48. He capped off the day in the 400 medley relay that finished in 3:00.19 as the W&M men defeated Davidson 147-115.
For the day, the Tribe set eight pool records in their sweep of the Wildcats.
