- Winners in eight of its last nine games, the Tribe has won six in a row, the program's longest winning streak since it had a school record 10 in 2009-10. It marks the 25th win streak of six or more games in school history and just the fifth in the last 25 years. In its 119-year history, the Tribe has had 18 win streaks of seven or more and just seven of eight or more.
- The Tribe sits in first place in the CAA standings at 5-0. It marks just the fourth time that W&M has started CAA play at 5-0. The Tribe has been 6-0 in CAA action just two times in 1982-83 and 2019-20. Overall, the Tribe is 5-0 to start conference play for only the eighth time in the program's 109-year history of conference membership. W&M is currently one of 14 teams nationally that are 5-0 in league play, as of Jan. 17.
- A key to the Tribe's CAA start has been its improved defense. W&M ranks fourth in league games in defensive efficiency, according to KenPom.com at 101.2, down from 114.6 during the nonconference slate. The Tribe has enjoyed improvements in scoring defense (67.8 ppg in CAA play compared to 77.5 ppg in nonconference), defensive field goal % (40.9% to 44.6%) and 3-point % defense (27.9% to 32.5%).
- In seven of the last 10 games, the Tribe has shot better than 50% from the floor. On the year, the Green and Gold ranks 65th nationally in field goal % (47.4) and 14th in 2-point field goal % (58.4). Including its 3-point shooting ability, the Tribe ranks 21st in the country in effective field goal % (56.9).

Matteus Case enjoyed the best CAA game of his career at Hampton, scoring 18 points. He was 6-of-6 from the floor and 6-of-7 at the free throw line, but more importantly, he converted a pair of 3-point plays in the final 1:07 to lift the Tribe to victory. In CAA play, he is averaging nearly 10 points per game (9.8).

Caleb Dorsey has been key in the Tribe winning seven of its eight since his return. He has produced four double-digit scoring games during the stretch. In CAA play, Dorsey is averaging 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, both of which rank 16th in the league. He had 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists in Thursday's win at Hampton.
- The Tribe has used a balanced attack this season. In total, 12 different W&M players have scored in double figures in a game, which is the third most in the country. Ten different players are averaging nearly five points per game, and seven have led W&M in scoring in game this season.
- W&M possesses the top offense in the CAA, leading the league in scoring (81.4), effective field goal % (56.9), 3-pointers made (11.2), assists (17.4), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.37), 3-pointers attempted (30.5), and fast-break points (15.1). The Tribe is second in the league in 3-point % (36.6) and field goal % (47.4).

Keller Boothby is averaging 10.5 points per game, shooting 16-of-29 (55.2%) from 3 over the last six games. After scoring a season-high 19 vs. Elon, he hit the game-winning 35-foot buzzer-beater to knock off N.C. A&T on Jan. 11. According to KenPom.com, Boothby ranks 17th nationally in effective FG% (.672) and 24th in true shooting % (.674).

Isaiah Mbeng was named the CAA Rookie of the Week on Jan. 6 following W&M's road wins at Hoftra and Stony Brook. He tallied a career-high 15 points in the win at Stony Brook. On the year, Mbeng leads the team and ranks third in the CAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.54), sixth in assists (3.4), and 16th in steals (1.2). In CAA play, he is averaging 4.8 assists, which ranks third in the league.
- The Tribe has connected on double-digit 3-pointers in 11 games this season, including seven of the last nine contests. W&M is 9-2 when it knocks down 10 or more 3-pointers in a game.

Brian Earl-coached teams are known among the fastest paced and highest scoring in the country. Ac-cording to KenPom.com, W&M ranks 46th nationally in adjusted tempo (70.8) and 10th in shortest average possession length (15.3). The Tribe ranks 46th nationally in scoring at 81.4 points per game.
- Three-point shooting has been a key piece of Earl's offenses, and W&M is one of the top teams in the country from distance this season. W&M ranks fifth nationally in % of field goal attempts coming from 3 (51.4%), sixth in 3-pointers made per game (11.2), 11th in 3-pointers attempted per game (30.5), 12th in % of scoring from 3-pointers (40.3%), and 57th in 3-point % (.366).
- Nearly half of W&M's points have come off the bench. The Tribe has scored 45.2% (662-of-1465) of its points off the bench and is averaging 36.8 points per game from its reserves, which ranks sixth nationally. W&M relies on its bench for significant minutes as well and ranks 25th nationally in % of minutes played off the bench (40.0%) according to KenPom.com.

Gabe Dorsey moved into third place on the Tribe's career 3-pointers made list at Hampton, tying Tribe great Daniel Dixon '17 with 241. On the season, he ranks fifth in the CAA in both 3's made (2.9) and 3FG% (41.9), which are also 48th and 52nd nationally. Dorsey is W&M's career leader in 3's per game (3.2).
