- Winners in six of its last seven game, the Tribe rides the program's longest winning streak in five years into Saturday's match-up with N.C. A&T. W&M has won its last four contests, the best stretch since it won five straight to end the 2020 regular season.
- With its 78-65 win over Elon, the Tribe started 3-0 in CAA play for just the sixth time in school history and first since it went 6-0 to begin the 2019-20 league slate. The Tribe has started 4-0 in CAA play just four times.

Keller Boothby enjoyed his best game as a member of the Tribe in the victory over Elon, scoring a game-high 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including 3-of-6 from 3. He has scored in double figures in three of the last four games and is averaging 12 points per game during that stretch. Boothby is shooting 64.3% (18-of-28), including 11-of-20 (55%) from 3-point range, over the last four games.
- The Tribe has been strong on the defensive end to start CAA play. W&M has limited two of its first three league opponents to less than 40% shooting. The Tribe leads the CAA in 3-point % defense in league games at 25.3% (22-of-87). In its three CAA victories, the Tribe is limiting foes to just 65.7 points per game.
- Over the last two contests, the Tribe is averaging just 5.5 turnovers. The Green and Gold dished out 20 assists compared to five turnovers at Stony Brook, before tallying 16 assists and only six turnovers vs. Elon. W&M leads the CAA and ranks 62nd nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.43). The Green and Gold is 9-2 when it has a positive assist-to-turnover ratio. The Tribe is 20th nationally at 17.5 assists per game.
- The Tribe has used a balanced attack this season. In total, 12 different W&M players have scored in double figures in a game, which is the second most in the country. Ten different players are averaging nearly five points per game, and seven have led W&M in scoring in game this season.
- W&M possesses the top offense in the CAA, leading the league in scoring (82.3), field goal % (47.3), effective field goal % (56.8), 3-pointers made (11.4), assists (17.5), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.43), 3-pointers attempted (31.2), and fast-break points (14.6). The Tribe is second in the league in 3-point % (36.5).

Isaiah Mbeng was named the CAA Rookie of the Week after averaging 11 points, four assists, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game on Monday. He tallied a career-high 15 points, including 4-of-6 from 3, in the win at Stony Brook. On the year, Mbeng leads the team and ranks third in the CAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.5), ninth in steals (1.3), and 12th in assists (3.1).
- In six of the last eight games, the Tribe has shot better than 50% from the floor. Over that stretch, W&M is shooting 50.6% (242-of-478). On the year, the Green and Gold ranks 73rd nationally in field goal % (47.3) and 21st in 2-point field goal % (58.5). Including its 3-point shooting ability, the Tribe ranks 23rd in the country in effective field goal % (56.8).
- The Tribe has connected on double-digit 3-pointers in 10 games this season, including six of the last seven contests. W&M is 8-2 when it knocks down 10 or more 3-pointers in a game.

Brian Earl-coached teams are known among the fastest paced and highest scoring in the country. According to KenPom.com, W&M ranks 46th nationally in adjusted tempo (71.3) and 12th in shortest average possession length (15.3). The Tribe ranks 41st nationally in scoring at 82.3 points per game.
- Senior forward
Noah Collier leads the CAA and ranks 17th nationally in field goal shooting at 61.5%. He has scored in double figures on 10 occasions and leads the Tribe, while ranking 21st in the CAA, at 12.5 points per game. Earlier this season, he tallied a career-high 25 points at NC State.
- Three-point shooting has been a key piece of Earl's offenses, and W&M is one of the top teams in the country from distance this season. W&M ranks fourth nationally in % of field goal attempts coming from 3 (51.8%), sixth in 3-pointers made per game (11.4), 10th in 3-pointers attempted per game (31.2), 12th in % of scoring from 3-pointers (40.6%), and 67th in 3-point % (.365).
- Junior guard
Chase Lowe has come on strong, scoring in double figures in six of the last seven games. During that stretch, he is averaging 11.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game, while shooting 67.6% from the field (25-of-37). Lowe ranks 14th in the CAA in assists and 24th in rebounding.
- Nearly half of W&M's points have come off the bench. The Tribe has scored 45.1% (594-of-1317) of its points off the bench and is averaging 37.1 points per game from its reserves, which ranks sixth nationally. W&M relies on its bench for significant minutes as well and ranks 19th nationally in % of minutes played off the bench (40.4%) according to KenPom.com.
- Senior
Gabe Dorsey, who was a Preseason All-CAA First Team choice, is W&M's career leader in 3's per game (3.2) and ranks fourth in total treys with 235. He is just six shy of third place. Dorsey currently ranks 52nd nationally in 3-point % (43.1) and 58th in 3-pointers made (2.93). He has scored in double figures in eight of the last 11 games.
- A trio of former W&M players are currently on coaching staffs in the NBA. Jim Moran '01 is in his ninth season as an NBA assistant coach and first with the Sacramento Kings. Sean Sheldon '16 is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Utah Jazz, while Daniel Dixon '17 is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Both Sheldon and Dixon served as their team's head coach during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
