Men’s Basketball Adds Two to Roster for 2024-25

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary head men's basketball coach Brian Earl announced the addition of guards Colin Ndaw (Dakar, Senegal/IMG Academy) and Luke Kinkade (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) to the Tribe roster for the 2024-25. The pair brings W&M's group of newcomers to nine, including four freshmen.
 
Ndaw was a member of the Senegal U18 National Basketball Team during his prep career. He played in the African Cup of Nations in Madagascar for Senegal and helped the country to a top 20 world ranking in 2022.
 
As a senior at IMG Academy, Ndaw averaged 14.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 46% from the field and 40% from 3-point range. The 6-4 guard helped lead IMG to the SIAA State Semifinals and his season included a 31-point outing against Victory Rock Post Grad National.
 
Off the court, he serves as the president and founder of a non-profit called the Ndaw Foundation, which serves to interconnect sports and education for the youth in Senegal and across West Africa. The foundation's purpose is to give back to the country that has raised him by providing equipment such as shoes, shirts, school supplies, etc. 
 
Kinkade capped his high school career as Neuqua Valley's all-time leading scorer. He was an Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-State Third Team selection as a senior after averaged 19 points, four rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Kinkade connected on 90 3-pointers as a senior, shooting 41% from distance and 52% from the field.
 
The 6-2 guard earned a spot on the Chicago Sun-Times All-Area team as one of the top 20 players in the region. He was a three-star player according to 247 Sports and ranked No. 17 in the state of Illinois and the 69th-best shooting guard in the country.

The duo joins fellow freshmen Ryan Jackson, Jr. (Mesa, Ariz./AZ Compass Prep) and Isaiah Mbeng (Potomac, Md. / Winston Churchill / Prolific Prep Post Grad) as part of the Tribe's incoming rookie class. The group also includes transfers Keller Boothby (Plano, Texas / Prestonwood Christian Academy / Cornell), Kyle Frazier (Matthews, N.C. / Weddington / Belmont Abbey), Finn Lally (Hamilton, New Zealand /  St. John's College Hamilton / Trinidad State), Malachi Ndur (St. Thomas, Ontario / Cushing Academy / Brown), and Kyle Pulliam (Silver Spring, Md. / Our Lady of Good Counsel / St. Thomas Aquinas).
