- W&M and VCU meet for the first time since the Rams departed the CAA for the Atlantic 10 following the 2011-12 season. The teams were members of the CAA together starting in 1995. The last time W&M and VCU met in the Siegel Center, the Rams won in OT, 69-68, on a Darius Theus lay-up with nine seconds left.
- Sunday marks the Tribe second-straight game against the A-10 conference following the Green and Gold's 93-87 win over Richmond in Williamsburg on Wednesday night. It is the 16th-straight season and 27th year in the last 29 campaigns that W&M has played an A-10 foe. It is the sixth time the Tribe has faced multiple A-10 teams in the same season. Head coach

- The Tribe is averaging 84.5 points per game and has eclipsed the century mark on two occasions. W&M's scoring production leads the CAA and ranks 33rd nationally. The Tribe's 109 points vs. Virginia University Lynchburg on Dec. 4 rank as the 10th most in a game in school history. W&M also recorded its first 100-point game against a DI opponent since 2018 in its 102-87 victory over Georgia Southern. In program history, the Tribe has averaged 80 or more points in just three seasons with a record of 85.0 in 2018.
- Senior forward
Noah Collier has been on a tear of late, averaging 19 points and six rebounds over the last six games vs. D1 foes. He has led the Tribe in scoring five times in the last six game, including a career-high 25 points at NC State. Collier leads the Tribe and ranks 16th in the CAA in scoring (13.9), while also coming in 15th in the league in rebounding (5.7). His 63.7 FG% leads the CAA and ranks 17th in the country.
- Earl's teams are known among the fastest paced and highest scoring in the country. According to KenPom.com, W&M ranks 38th nationally in adjusted tempo (71.6) and eighth as well in shortest average possession length (15.1) this season. The Tribe also leads the CAA in fastbreak points at 15.3 per game, which also ranks 33rd nationally. Over his last three years at Cornell, Earl's teams ranked among the top 25 nationally in adjusted tempo.
- Three-point shooting has been a key piece of Earl's offenses, and W&M is one of the top teams in the country from distance this season. W&M ranks third nationally in % of field goal attempts coming from 3 (53.4%), third in 3-pointers attempted per game (32.8), seventh in 3-pointers made per game (11.8), and 30th in % of scoring from 3-pointers (39.1%). Earl's teams ranked among the top 10 nationally in 3-pointers made and attempted each of his last two years at Cornell.
- The Tribe connected on double-digit 3-pointers in each of its last two games and have accomplished the feat six times this season. W&M is 5-1 in those games. W&M is shooting 44.9% (31-of-69) from 3-point range over the last two contests. The Tribe hit a season-high 18 3-pointers vs. VUL, the third most in school history.
- W&M has used a deep rotation this season with as many as 13 players seeing time in the rotation. According to KenPom.com, W&M ranks 15th nationally in % of minutes played off the bench (41.5%). In total, 11 players are averaging nearly 11 minutes, eight are averaging at least six points per game, and five with at least three rebounds per game.
- Nearly half of W&M's points this season have come off the bench. The Tribe has scored 47.2% (439-of-930) of its points off the bench and is averaging 39.9 points per game from its reserves, which ranks fifth nationally. Last season, Earl's Cornell team led the nation at 36 points per game from reserves.

Gabe Dorsey, who was a Preseason All-CAA First Team choice, is 11-of-15 from 3-point range. He is W&M's career leader in 3's per game (3.2) and moved up into fourth place on the Tribe's career 3-pointers list with 221. He is just 20 shy of third place. Dorsey currently ranks 67th nationally in 3-pointers made (2.9) and 94th in 3-point % (40.0).
- In each of its last three games, the Tribe has shot better than 50% from the floor, including a season-high 56.8% vs. VUL. W&M connected as a 57.1% clip in the second half on the way to its win over Richmond on Wednesday. According to KenPom.com, W&M ranks 15th nationally in 2-point field goal % (59.6).
- W&M is averaging 21.5 assists per game over the last four games with an assist to turnover ratio of 2.15 (86-to-40). On the year, the Tribe leads the CAA in both assists (17.6) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.36). W&M ranks 26th nationally in assists and 89th in assist-to-turnover ratio.
- A trio of former W&M players are currently on coaching staffs in the NBA. Jim Moran '01 is in his ninth season as an NBA assistant coach and first with the Sacramento Kings. Sean Sheldon '16 is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Utah Jazz, while Daniel Dixon '17 is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Both Sheldon and Dixon served as their team's head coach during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
