WILLIAMSBURG, Va.-- William & Mary Interim Head Women's Golf Coach
Mike Leach announced the signing of two commits set to join the Tribe for the 2025-26 season—Lilly Reed Black and Reagan Garnsey.
Lilly Reed Black- Chapin, S.C.
Black has posted numerous top-10 finishes this calendar year, including a runner-up finish at the Carolinas PGA Charles Tilgham Championship, while also advancing to the semifinal round of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association Congaree Match Play. Additionally, she earned medalist honors last month at the South Carolina 5A Division II State Championship.
Leach on Black:
"Lilly Reed is very impressive, both on the course and off. The consistency of her game and her high character will allow her to make an immediate impact on the program."
Reagan Garnsey- Camden-Wyoming, Del.
Garnsey comes to Williamsburg as a past champion of the PKBGT Peggy Kirk Bell Junior. She also posted 4th place finishes in both the 11th Peggy Kirk Bell Tournament of Champions and the Notah Begay III East Coast Invitational. This summer, she finished 3rd at the Delaware Junior Girls Championship, a tournament she won in 2023.
Leach on Garnsey
"Reagan is a great athlete who hits the ball a long way, giving herself many wedges and scoring opportunities. When her putter gets hot, she is tough to beat."
The Tribe will kick off their spring season, under Leach's direction for the first time, in March.
