EDISTO ISLAND S.C.—The William & Mary women's golf team concluded action at the Edisto Island Invitational on Tuesday. The Tribe finished in 15
th place in the 54-hole event at Edisto Island's Plantation Course.
Freshman
Jennifer Osborne was the pacesetter for the Tribe with a T-48 finish. Osborne posted scores of 79-75-77 over the three rounds with her best nine of the tournament coming on the back-nine of Monday's second round. She used three birdies to fire a 1-under 35.
Avery Thompson posted consistent scores over the 54-holes to finish in a tie for 61
st. The Tribe junior opened with scores of 80-78 on Monday before a final round 79. She finished at 24-over for the event.
Felicity Chen and
Samantha Skinner rounded out the W&M lineup, finishing T-73 and T-83 respectively. Chen fired scores of 87-82-78 in her Tribe debut, while Skinner posted 88-76-89 for the event.
Up Next
The Tribe will conclude their fall season at UNC Ashville's event on Oct. 28-29.
