NORFOLK, Va. – William & Mary sophomore
Oliver Hague won his opening match on Saturday to advance to the round of 16 in the main singles draw at the ITA Atlantic Region Championships. The reigning CAA Rookie of the Year's run in the event came to an end in the afternoon at the hands of 2024 BIG EAST Player of the Year Jake Fellows of Georgetown in three sets.
Hague opened the day with a dominating 6-1, 6-1 win over Virginia Tech's Patrik Jurina in the second round. In his second match of the day, the Manchester, England, native suffered a three-set defeat to his fellow countryman Fellows, who is from London.
Hague, who owns four singles wins during the fall, won the first set from the tournament's No. 3 seed, 6-3, to start the match. The Hoyas senior rallied to win the second and third sets by matching 6-2 scores to advance to Sunday's quarterfinals.

Gur Trakhtenberg picked up wins. Hansen notched a three-set win over Navy's Aniketh Ayinala to even his season mark at 3-3. Trakhtenberg won in straight-sets, 6-4, 6-4, over Liberty's Trey Stinchcomb to improve to 5-4.
