- While Delaware won the lone meeting last season and leads the all-time series, W&M has won 10 of the last 15 contests between the two teams dating back to 2016. The Tribe is 6-1 against the Blue Hens at home during that stretch.

Matteus Case moved into the starting lineup for the first time at Northeastern and provided W&M in a big lift in a 72-68 victory. He tied his career-high with 15 points to lead the Green and Gold. Since returning from injury, Case has scored in double figures in five of 10 games, including a career-high 15 points at Pepperdine on Dec. 21.
- The Tribe has improved defensively in CAA play, limiting four of its last six opponents to fewer than 70 points. In contrast, W&M held just one D1 non-conference opponent to fewer than 70 points. The Tribe's 1.06 points per possession in CAA play is an improvement from its 1.16 against D1 competition in the non-conference. In league play, W&M ranks fourth in scoring defense at 69.5 points per game.
- Junior
Gabe Dorsey erupted for eight 3-pointers at Hofstra on Jan. 25. The eight triples rank third in W&M history. Dorsey finished one point off his career-high with 26. On the year, Dorsey has 70 made 3-pointers, which ranks sixth nationally, and is the 14th-best single-season total in school history. His 146 3-pointers over the last two years rank 13th on the Tribe's career list.
- In four of the last five games, the Tribe has connected on double-digit 3-pointers. In total, the Tribe has nine games of 10 or more 3-pointers this season. The Green and Gold ranks 22nd nationally in 3-pointers attempted (27.5) and 42nd in 3-pointers made per game (9.0). In total, 48.2% of the Tribe's field goal attempts come from 3-point range and 37.5% of its scoring comes on 3-point field goals. Those numbers rank 11th and 31st nationally, according to KenPom.com.
- Sophomore
Chase Lowe has been a stat-stuffer for the Tribe this season. He is one of 48 players nationally, as of Jan. 30, to average 12 points, six rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Lowe has been even better in CAA play, averaging 13.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Overall, he is one of just three players in the CAA to rank among the top 20 in scoring, rebounding and assists.
- Lowe is one of the best in the country at getting to the free throw line. According to KenPom.com, he is fourth nationally in free throw rate (87.1) and 28th in the country in drawing fouls at 6.8 per 40 minutes. Lowe has made 90 free throws on the season, which ranks fourth in the CAA and 60th nationally.
- Sophomore
Trey Moss has scored in double figures hi 17 of the Tribe's 21 games and ranks 13th in the CAA at 13.4 points per game. He has four 20-point games, including a career-high 22 points against CAA-leader Drexel on Jan. 6. Moss has scored in doubles figures in each of the Tribe's last four games.
- Junior
Caleb Dorsey ranks sixth in the CAA with four double-doubles on the year. He owns two in CAA play, finishing with 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds at Hampton (Jan. 11) and adding 14 points and 12 rebounds vs. Stony Brook on Jan. 13. The junior forward ranks 16th in the CAA in rebounding (6.0).

Gabe Dorsey continues to be one of the top shooters in the country. After ranking fourth in the country in 3-point % last season, he is currently ninth in 3-pointers per game (3.3), as of Jan. 30. Dorsey is shooting 39.8% from distance this season, which leads the CAA and ranks 49th nationally.
- 2020 graduate Nathan Knight, who was the National Mid-Major Player of the Year in 2020, signed an NBA 2-way deal with the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics prior to the start of the season and is currently with the Motor City Cruise in the NBA G-League. He has played three years in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Atlanta Hawks. Knight is the third W&M player, joining Marcus Thornton (Cleveland Cavaliers 10-day contract in 2018) and Daniel Dixon (Boston Celtics preseason Exhibit 10 deal in 2017) to sign an NBA deal since 2017.
- Along with Knight in the NBA G-League, seven other former Tribe standouts are playing professionally in overseas -
Anders Nelson (Starwings in Switzerland), Andy Van Vliet (Trefl Sopot in Poland), Justin Pierce (Veertien Mie in Japan), David Cohn (VfL SparkassenStars Bochum in Germany), Omar Prewitt (Tofas Bursa in Turkey), Marcus Thornton (Lavrio in Greece), and Terry Tarpey (AS Monaco in France).
- A trio of former W&M players are currently on coaching staffs in the NBA and NBA G-League. Jim Moran '01 is the head coach of the Rip City Remix, which is the G-League affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers. Sean Sheldon '16 is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Utah Jazz. Daniel Dixon '17 is an assistant coach with the Oklahoma City Blue, the NBA G-League program of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
