- The series between W&M and Northeastern has been a highly competitive one since the Huskies joined the CAA in 2005-06. NU holds a slim 19-16 lead with each team winning 12 of its 15 homes contests in the series. Over the last two years, the teams have split the regular season series with each winning on its home court. Four of the last eight meetings have been decided by a single possession and another game went to overtime.
- Junior
Gabe Dorsey erupted for eight 3-pointers at Hofstra on Thursday night. The eight triples are the third most in a single game in W&M history. Dorsey finished one point off his career-high with 26. On the year, Dorsey has 67 made 3-pointers, which ranks fifth nationally, and is the 17th-best single-season total in school history. His 143 3-pointers over the last two years rank 14th on the Tribe's career list.
- In three of the last four games, the Tribe has connected on double-digit 3-pointers. W&M hit 10 against Stony Brook on Jan. 13, before knocking down 10 vs. Campbell on Jan. 18. On Thursday, he drilled 10 at Hofstra. In total, the Tribe has eight games of 10 or more 3-pointers this season. The Green and Gold ranks 20th nationally in 3-pointers attempted (27.5) and 46th in 3-pointers made per game (9.0). In total, 48% of the Tribe's field goal attempts come from 3-point range and 37.2% of its scoring comes on 3-point field goals. Those numbers rank 11th and 32nd nationally, according to KenPom.com.
- The Tribe has outrebounded its opponent in all three CAA road games this season. In total, W&M has owned the advantage on the glass in 14 of its 20 games this season. The Green and Gold ranks sixth in the CAA in both total rebounds (35.6) and rebounding margin (+1.1).
- Sophomore
Chase Lowe has been a stat-stuffer for the Tribe this season. He is one of 56 players nationally, as of Jan. 25, to average 12 points, six rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Lowe has been even better in CAA play, averaging 13.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Overall, he is one of just three players in the CAA to rank among the top 20 in scoring, rebounding and assists. Lowe scored a career-high 25 points at N.C. A&T on Jan. 20.
- Lowe is one of the best in the country at getting to the free throw line. According to KenPom.com, he is third nationally in free throw rate (89.4) and 24th in the country in drawing fouls at 7.0 per 40 minutes. Lowe has made 87 free throws on the season, which ranks fourth in the CAA and 57th nationally.
- Sophomore
Trey Moss leads the Tribe in scoring and ranks 14th in the CAA at 13.4 points per game. He has scored in double figures in 16 of the Tribe's 20 contests, including four 20-point games. Moss scored a career-high 22 points against CAA-leader Drexel on Jan. 6.
- Junior
Caleb Dorsey ranks fifth in the CAA with four double-doubles on the year. He owns two in CAA play, finishing with 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds at Hampton (Jan. 11) and adding 14 points and 12 rebounds vs. Stony Brook on Jan. 13. The junior forward ranks 16th in the CAA in rebounding (6.2).

Gabe Dorsey continues to be one of the top shooters in the country. After ranking fourth in the country in 3-point % last season, he is currently 12th in 3-pointers per game (3.4), as of Jan. 25. Dorsey is shooting 40.1% from distance this season, which leads the CAA and ranks 46th nationally.
- 2020 graduate Nathan Knight, who was the National Mid-Major Player of the Year in 2020, signed an NBA 2-way deal with the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics prior to the start of the season and is currently with the Motor City Cruise in the NBA G-League. He has played three years in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Atlanta Hawks. Knight is the third W&M player, joining Marcus Thornton (Cleveland Cavaliers 10-day contract in 2018) and Daniel Dixon (Boston Celtics preseason Exhibit 10 deal in 2017) to sign an NBA deal since 2017.
- Along with Knight in the NBA G-League, seven other former Tribe standouts are playing professionally in overseas -
Anders Nelson (Starwings in Switzerland), Andy Van Vliet (Trefl Sopot in Poland), Justin Pierce (Veertien Mie in Japan), David Cohn (VfL SparkassenStars Bochum in Germany), Omar Prewitt (Tofas Bursa in Turkey), Marcus Thornton (Lavrio in Greece), and Terry Tarpey (AS Monaco in France).
- A trio of former W&M players are currently on coaching staffs in the NBA and NBA G-League. Jim Moran '01 is the head coach of the Rip City Remix, which is the G-League affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers. Sean Sheldon '16 is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Utah Jazz. Daniel Dixon '17 is an assistant coach with the Oklahoma City Blue, the NBA G-League program of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
