WILLIAMSBURG, Va.— William & Mary women's basketball looks to recover from a home loss on Friday by traveling to Elon on Sunday afternoon. Tip is set for 1 p.m. with the game broadcast on FloHoops and a free live audio stream available via the Tribe Sports Network.

A New Way to Tune In
New this year, the Tribe Sports Network will be providing free audio broadcasts of all W&M women's basketball away contests. Jack Angelucci will be on the call with a pregame show beginning at 12:40 p.m. featuring a pregame interview with Erin Dickerson Davis. Fans can listen at tribeathletics.com/listenlive.
TRIBE NOTES
• The Matchup
William & Mary tries to bounce back from a loss Friday, hitting the road to face Elon at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The game will be broadcast on FloHoops.
• The Opponent
Elon snagged their first win in conference play on Friday, taking care of Campbell at home by two points. The Phoenix have yet to allow more than 57 points in conference action, but also haven't scored more then 53 points in CAA play.
• Last Time Out
The Tribe tried to work the same magic that got them a win at Hofstra against N.C. A&T on Friday night in another low scoring slugfest. This time it was the Aggies free throw shooting that foiled the Tribe's plan to get to 3-0 in CAA play, taking the game 53-51 at Kaplan Arena. Both teams shot 28% from the floor, with Bella Nascimento being the only W&M player in double figures with 14.
•Road Warriors
The Green and Gold have a shot at program history on Sunday when they visit Elon. With a win it would be the first time in program history that the Tribe have won their first three conference road games in a season.
• Fourth Quarter Clamps
William & Mary's defense in the fourth quarter propelled them to both of their come from behind wins up last weekend. The Tribe held their opening weekend opponents to 4-of-29 shooting in the fourth frame with Hofstra held scoreless over the final 3:04 and Monmouth the final 4:24 of regulation. In the last 14:24 of fourth quarter play W&M has allowed just four points on 1-for-23 shooting.
• On the Road Again
Despite a 1-5 record at home, the Tribe have had no issue going out and winning games away from Williamsburg this season. The Tribe's 5-2 record away from Kaplan Arena is their best road start since 2019-20 when they went 6-2 over their first eight road contests. W&M went 8-8 away from home last season in Erin Dickerson Davis' first season at the helm.
• Cauley's Career Night
Anahi-Lee Cauley earned the first start of her college career on Friday at Monmouth, and to say she made the most of it is an understatement. Cauley shattered her previous career-high of 11, pouring in 22 on the Hawks. The Villanova transfer also set career-highs in field goals made (9), field goals attempted (14) and free throws attempted (5). She tied her career-mark in makes from the line with four. Cauley followed that up with a career high three blocks last Sunday at Hofstra.
• Leave it to Lex
Alexa Mikeska has been a force to be reckoned with on the glass the last two games. The sophomore snagged a career-high 11 rebounds in the win at Hofstra to go with her five points Mikeska followed that up with a nine rebound game vs. A&T to go with six points and four steals.
• Three Headed Monster
Anahi-Lee Cauley (22), Bella Nascimento (20) and Nylah Young (17) powered the Tribe offense in the win at Monmouth last Friday. It was the first time the Tribe had a trio of players with over 15 points this season.
• Nylon Nylah
After being scoreless in six minutes at Virginia Tech due to the stomach bug, Nylah Young poured in 17 points off eight makes from the floor vs. Monmouth. Young is currently the CAA's sixth leading scorer at 15.1 ppg. She has posted 5 games of 20 or more, and set a Tribe program record by scoring 29 in the season opener. She also became the first W&M player to score 20+ in four of a season's first five games. She also leads the conference in FT%, currently holding a mark of 92.2%
• The Energizer Bella
Bella Nascimento has been a constant on the floor for W&M, and is currently fourth in the CAA in minutes per game (33.8). The former Manhattan Jasper set a career-high in minutes at FIU playing 39. She's played at least 33 minutes in 11 of the 14 games and earned FIU Thanksgiving Classic MVP honors. She has led the Tribe in scoring six of the last nine games, with 11 games in double figures this season.
• 60 is the Magic Number
The Tribe has held their opponents under 60 points in five of their six wins this season, while opponents have scored over 60 in all seven W&M losses. The Tribe is 11-3 under Erin Dickerson Davis when holding teams below 60. While team's have had a mixed bag of success scoring in the 60s vs. W&M, opponents are 24-3 against them when scoring 70+ since 2020-21.
