• The Opponent
The Aggies split in the opening weekend of conference play, losing against Charleston, but responded by beating preseason favorite Towson in overtime. They sit at 7-6 overall on the year.

• Last Time Out
William & Mary started out 0-for-10 from the floor in the first quarter, and trailed 14-0 early at Hofstra on Sunday, before going on a 15-1 run to take the lead. After a back and forth second half, the Tribe held Hofstra scoreless over the final three-plus minutes before a Bella Nascimento jumper with five seconds left won the game for the Tribe, 48-46.

•Been a Minute
The Tribe's 2-0 start in conference play is their first since 2018, with both of those wins also coming on the road. With a win vs A&T the Tribe will be 3-0 in the CAA for the first time since 2009.

• Fourth Quarter Clamps
William & Mary's defense in the fourth quarter propelled them to both of their come from behind wins up north. The Tribe held their opening weekend opponents to 4-of-29 shooting in the fourth frame with Hofstra held scoreless over the final 3:04 and Monmouth the final 4:24 of regulation. In the last 14:24 of fourth quarter play W&M has allowed just four points on 1-for-23 shooting.

• Rust? Not Us
Despite coming off their second longest in-season layoff since 1985, W&M showed no signs of rust after having 15 days off between the Virginia Tech game and the conference opener at Monmouth.. The only longer break in-season was 19 days in 2021-22. Prior to 1985 it was customary to take a month off at the semester break.

• Cauley's Career Night
Anahi-Lee Cauley earned the first start of her college career on Friday at Monmouth, and to say she made the most of it is an understatement. Cauley shattered her previous career-high of 11, pouring in 22 on the Hawks. The Villanova transfer also set career-highs in field goals made (9), field goals attempted (14) and free throws attempted (5). She tied her career-mark in makes from the line with four. Cauley followed that up with a career high three blocks on Sunday at Hofstra.

• Leave it to Lex
Alexa Mikeska was a force to be reckoned with on the glass at Hofstra on Sunday. The sophomore snagged a career-high 11 rebounds in the win to go with her five points. She also hit a buzzer beating three to put the Tribe up two at the half.

• Three Headed Monster
Anahi-Lee Cauley (22), Bella Nascimento (20) and Nylah Young (17) powered the Tribe offense in the win at Monmouth last Friday. It was the first time the Tribe had a trio of players with over 15 points this season.

• Nylon Nylah
After being scoreless in six minutes at Virginia Tech due to the stomach bug, Nylah Young poured in 17 points off eight makes from the floor vs. Monmouth. Young is currently the CAA's fourth leading scorer at 15.6 ppg. She has posted 5 games of 20 or more, and set a Tribe program record by scoring 29 in the season opener. She also became the first W&M player to score 20+ in four of a season's first five games. Young's performance Friday was her 80th time scoring in double figures in her college career.

• The Energizer Bella
Bella Nascimento has been a constant on the floor for W&M, and is currently fourth in the CAA in minutes per game (33.8). The former Manhattan Jasper set a career-high in minutes at FIU playing 39. She's played at least 33 minutes in 10 of the 13 games and earned FIU Thanksgiving Classic MVP honors. She has led the Tribe in scoring five of the last eight games, with 10 games in double figures this season.

• 60 is the Magic Number
The Tribe has held their opponents under 60 points in five of their six wins this season, while opponents have scored over 60 in all seven W&M losses. The Tribe is 11-2 under Erin Dickerson Davis when holding teams below 60. While team's have had a mixed bag of success scoring in the 60s vs. W&M, opponents are 24-3 against them when scoring 70+ since 2020-21.
