Lax Earns IWLCA Academic Honor Squad Recognition

WILLIAMSBURG, Va.—The William & Mary lacrosse program has been recognized for its outstanding work in the classroom once again by being selected as a 2023 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaching Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad.
 
W&M garnered the accolade after earning a cumulative grade point average better than of 3.2.
 
In addition to the team recognition, eight members of the team were recognized individually with selections to the 2023 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll – Meg Baxter, Sarah Cipolla, Caroline Donovan, Olivia Gladstein, Caroline Hertzberg, Tara Kerr, London Simonides and Courtney Vasquenza.
 
The Academic Honor Roll consists of juniors, seniors and graduate students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
 
In addition to the success in the classroom, W&M finished the 2023 campaign with the program's highest win total and most conference victories since 2011.
