Women's Basketbal Inks Quartet on Signing Day

WILLIAMSBURG, Va.—William & Mary women's basketball coach Erin Dickerson Davis announced her newest recruiting class on Thursday. Four players have signed letters of intent to don Green and Gold next year.

Emma West, Guard (Great Falls, Va.)
Emma West signs on to be a member of the Tribe in 2024-25 coming to Williamsburg via Georgetown Visitation. The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 14 points, four assists and three steals per outing as a junior and earned all-league honors as well. West plays AAU ball for Elevate Elite, playing on their 17U team the last three years. She has W&M connections, with her uncle, Jeremy Anderson, playing on the Tribe football team for two years.

Coach 'E' on West
"It feels like so long ago that Emma decided to join Tribe women's basketball and we are so excited to officially have her be part of our family.  Emma possesses qualities that will help her be a leader and great teammate in our program.  She's a versatile guard that can score the basketball at three levels. She plays with a ton of passion, and I know that she will gel well with our team."

Sophia LeGoullon, Guard (Manchester, N.H.)
A 6-foot-1 guard, Sophia LeGoullon signs on with the Tribe out of the Tilton School. The New Hampshire native was named an Adidas All-American in 2022 and a Lakes Region all-star in 2023. Outside of playing for Tilton, LeGoullon honed her skils with 3ssb Lady Rivals Basketball. She also ran cross country in high school.

Coach 'E' on LeGoullon
"We are so excited that Sophia will be joining our team. Sophia brings great size and shooting ability to this class.  When you talk to Sophia, competitiveness and the will to win oozes out of her. Her versatility and ability to play multiple positions will undoubtedly make her an impactful piece to our program."

Marley Long, Forward (Washington, D.C.)
Hailing from the nation's capital, Marley Long joins W&M from one of the best girls high school teams in the nation at Sidwell Friends School. Her team has won back-to-back D.C. state championships. Long's Sidwell team was also crowned the No. 1 girls team in the nation by SportsCenterNext. During her tenure on the team they have gone 60-3. She has played AAU for the Fairfax Stars in recent years. Long's uncle, Jason Wilford, played basketball at Virginia and is currently an assistant coach for the Cavaliers. Her mother, Nayamaka, is a graduate of William & Mary ('02).

Coach 'E' on Long
"When we first got to William & Mary, we talked about protecting our area in recruiting and Marley was someone that caught our attention right away.  She's long, athletic, can finish around the rim, and is stretching her game out past the 3-point line.  Marley's mother also is a graduate of William & Mary, so we are pumped to keep the Tribe in the family!"

Natalie Fox, Forward (LeGrangeville, N.Y.)
A two-time first team all-state selection in New York, Natalie Fox signs with William & Mary from Millbrook High School. Fox has posted an average of 18 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks and three assists per game over her first three years of her high school career. Fox has been named the Section IX Class C Player of the Year three consecutive years. Her sister, Erin, spent four years on the women's basketball team on Marist College.

Coach 'E' on Fox
"Natalie is a huge pick-up for us in this class. She's a player that can play both the 4 and 5 being a dominant force in the paint and beyond.  Although she may come across as quiet and reserved, she is full of fire and amazing personality.  Nat will do whatever it takes to win, and that mentality is exactly what we need as we continue to build our culture."
