WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary women's golf travels to the Navy Fall Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 1. The 36-hole, two-day event will be played as the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Md.
The Tournament
The U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club will play par-72 and 6,084 yards during the week. Tee times start on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with Sunday's round beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The Tribe and Mids will be joined by Quinnipiac, Fairleigh Dickinson, The Citadel, Bryant, Long Island, Lehigh, Howard, Monmouth, Bucknell, Delaware State, Sacred Heart, La Salle and Mount St. Mary's in the 15-team field.

- The Tribe finished as the runner-up at the Elon Invitational on Sept. 20. W&M fired the second-best 54-hole scoring mark in school history, behind an 875 (+23). The Green and Gold posted the third-best 36-hole total (585 +17) and sixth-best single-round total (290 +6) at the event.
- Houle highlighted the Green and Gold effort for the second-straight tournament to start the 2022 fall season, finishing as the runner-up at Elon. She finished with a 1-under 212, which is the seventh-best 54-hole score in school history, and posted two rounds under par. Thanks to two top-five finishes, Houle owns sixth career top-five efforts and 10 top-10 performances.
- Houle led the Tribe at the William & Mary Fall Invitational, finishing in a share of fifth with a 1-over 217. It marked her fifth career top five and ninth career top-10 finish, which ranks among the Tribe's all-time top 10 in both categories. Houle was fourth over the three rounds in par 3 scoring at even par and fifth with 10 birdies.
- Freshman
Grace Lu posted the best 54-hole total for a Tribe rookie in program history on the way to a top-5 performance at Elon. She carded a 2-over 215, which also ranked as the 14th-best 54-hole score in school history. Her 36-hole score was the best for a freshman in school history at 1-under 141.
