WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's cross country returns to action at Christopher Newport competing in the NCAA South Regional Preview on Friday.
The event is set for the Lee Hall Mansion course beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the women's 6k race. The men's 8k is set for 6:20 p.m. In total, 23 teams are set to take part in the regional preview.

- The Tribe moved up to No. 12 in the USTFCCCA Southeast Region Rankings released on Monday. W&M started the season ranked No. 14 after finishing last season in the 12th spot.
- At the Charlotte Opener to kick off the year, the Tribe topped Georgia, who ranked No. 12 in the South Region.
- Making his first appearance for the Tribe, sophomore
Nate Jennings led the way, placing 20th at Charlotte in a time of 15:27.9.
- The Tribe returns five runners that placed in the top 10 in the CAA and earned All-CAA honors last season. Sophomores

Patrick North (10th) earned all-league honors.
- Last season, the Tribe won its 28th conference championship and extended its streak to 34 years of finishing first or second at the conference championship.
