WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The William & Mary men's tennis team earned the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team honor for the sixth-straight year and placed six players on the organization's Scholar-Athlete list. Joseph Brailovsky, Harrison Brown, Chen Ruo, George Davis, Jack Kelly and Daniel Pellerito were each named ITA Scholar-Athletes, while the Green and Gold posted a team cumulative GPA higher than 3.2 to earn a spot on the team list.
 
The team award was the 10th for the program and sixth under head coach Jeff Kader. Ruo garnered the honor for the fifth time, while Pellerito received his fourth accolade. Kelly received his third distinctions, while Brailovsky, Brown and Davis earned their second awards.
 
The Tribe was one of five Colonial Athletic Association schools to take home the team distinction and one of 155 D1 programs. A total of 67 W&M student-athletes have garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, including 58 over the last 11 years.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letter winners were factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year (including fall 2019 and spring 2020). In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letter winner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3.) have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters (including freshman through senior year).
