The Tribe will begin the 2022 campaign Aug. 26 in Tampa facing South Florida and South Alabama on Friday afternoon before taking on Ball State on Saturday morning. The next weekend, William & Mary will travel to Pittsburgh for three matches over two days, Sept. 2-3. The Green and Gold will face Robert Morris Friday morning and Duquesne in the evening with each match coming at the respective teams' home gym. The Tribe will finish the weekend with a noon start on Saturday against Canisius.

The team will make its Kaplan Arena debut Sept. 9 with a 5:00 p.m. start with Maryland Eastern Shore. The Tribe will take on George Mason at 2:00 p.m. the following day to close out the Colonial Classic. Adding to the festivities, the 3rd annual Deb Hill Alumnae Reunion is slated for this weekend.

The Tribe will begin CAA play hosting UNCW for a pair of 2:00 p.m. starts Sept. 17-18 before heading to Elon for Sept. 24-25 dates with the Phoenix. William & Mary will then play six straight matches against new members of the CAA.

The Green and Gold will welcome in Stony Brook Oct. 1-2 for a pair of 1:00 p.m. starts, head to Greensboro to battle North Carolina A&T Oct. 8-9, and have a week off before hosting Hampton Oct. 22-23.

The final three weeks of the regular season features familiar foes as the Tribe travels to Towson Oct. 29-30, faces Delaware at home Nov. 5-6 for senior weekend, and closes out the fall campaign with a trip to Northeastern Nov. 12-13. The CAA Championships will be held the following week at Towson.

The schedule features four matchups with teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season. Towson took the CAA title for the third straight season in 2021, while NC A&T, Ball State, and South Alabama were all conference champions as well.

FROM COACH DOYLE:

I'm eager for the season ahead. We have an influx of new players that'll give the program a new look from years prior. We're able to play in the hometown of a senior (Tampa, Florida – Kaitlyn Ferguson), which is a special opportunity. We did something similar last year in Chicago and it is one of my fondest memories. The CAA proves tough every year from top to bottom and with new teams joining our conference this season, it'll be an interesting ride. Fans will get this year what they get every time they watch Tribe Volleyball: a team that plays hard, plays together, goes for everything, and is exciting to watch. We hope to leave people inspired every time they come to watch us compete.
