WILLIAMSBURG, Va.—William & Mary Field Hockey head coach Tess Ellis has announced the Tribe's schedule for the upcoming 2022 season.
 
The schedule features 18 regular-season contests, highlighted by eight home games that will take place at Busch Field. The Tribe will open the campaign with a pair of home games against Old Dominion (Aug. 26) and Richmond (Sept. 2), W&M will hit the road for the next four consecutive contests, which include matchups versus Liberty (Sept. 4), Davidson (Sept. 9), Duke (Sept. 11) and James Madison (Sept. 16).

The team will return home to compete against UCONN (Sept.18) and then back on the road at Longwood (Sept. 23). 
 
The Green & Gold then will play its first conference game at  Monmouth (Sept. 30) before concluding its non-conference slate with two of the following five games on the road, as it travels to, Virginia (Oct. 2), and American (Oct. 29). The home contest will greet Central Michigan (Sept. 25) and Virginia Commonwealth (Oct. 23).
 
W&M's six-game Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) slate will continue with three home games against Delaware (Oct. 7), Drexel (Oct. 9) and Towson (Oct. 21), while it will travel to Northeastern (Oct. 14), Hofstra and (Oct. 16).

The CAA's will begin the first weekend in November 4-6, at Delaware, as the top four teams will compete for the conference title.
