WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Rising William & Mary senior
Alexandra de Jesus was selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic At-Large All-District Team.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Each institution is limited to six nominees for the at-large categories, which includes beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, and water polo.
de Jesus started all 17 games in goal for the Tribe in 2026, totaling 155 saves, which ranked eighth on the program's single-season list. She led the CAA and ranked fourth nationally with 9.12 saves per game, while coming in third in the CAA and 41st nationally in save % (72.1). de Jesus notched six double-digit save performances, including a career-best 24 saves at Old Dominion. The 24 saves were the most in the country in 2025 and the fourth-most saves in a game in school history.
Academically, de Jesus has been a CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll honoree, a NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad selection and a W&M Provost Award winner each of the last two years.
