WILLIAMSBURG, VA. - William & Mary baseball will head up I 64 to Richmond for a Tuesday tilt with VCU. The Tribe and the Rams will get together at The Diamond for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+.

The Green and Gold will be looking to avenge a 4-2 March 29 loss to the Rams in a game that took place at Plumeri Park. In the game, Matt Howat, Randy Prosperi, and Mike Weidinger combined to toss 6.0 innings allowing just one earned run. The trio of relievers struck out four and allowed just four hits. Joe Delossantos and Cole Ragone both had three hits including a double in the loss. William & Mary out-hit the Rams 11-6 in the game.

Weidinger was one of three Tribe lefties to have a strong outing in Sunday's game. Weidinger, Adam Fischer, and Garrett Casey combined to toss four scoreless innings Sunday afternoon and did not allow a hit. Weidinger has been special, allowing zero runs over his last six outings.

Matt Thomas had a solid weekend at the plate, amassing six total hits and bringing his hitting streak up to a season-high six games. Thomas knocked in a man and scored on a 2-3 Friday night and had a three-hit outing on Saturday. Ben Williamson also hit safely in all three ballgames and has reached base safely in each of the past 16 games.

Lucas Carmichael had a terrific start Sunday reaching base in all four plate appearances and going 2-2 with three runs driven in. Tyler Solomon added a pair of doubles in the game and scored twice while Jack Cone also had a two-hit outing.
