WILLIAMSBURG, VA. - Tribe swimming is back in action this weekend as the men and women visit CAA rival Delaware. The William & Mary men will face the Blue Hens in a dual, while the women will take on Delaware and James Madison in a double dual. Both meets will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
The William & Mary women are 2-2 in dual meets this season and will look to bounce back after a tough loss two weeks ago at Towson. The Tribe men will be looking for the first win in a young season.
Delaware's men's swim team is 2-0 on the season with dual wins over UMBC and Johns Hopkins, while women are also 2-0 with wins over the Retrievers and Blue Jays. James Madison is 2-1 on the year after defeating East Carolina last Saturday.
Senior
Annie Tuttle has been dominant this season with eight first place finishes, all coming in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events, while freshman
Sophia Heilen has also won eight races, seven in the 100 and 200 fly events.
Elizabeth Intihar and
Katie Stevenson have each won six individual races this season.
On the men's side,
Noah Fields and
Will Glass each have a pair of individual wins. Fields has bested the competition in the 200 fly while Glass has outlasted the opposition in the 1,000 free.
Micah Lowe has won the 100 back and
Alex Valliere has a first place finish in the 50 free.
