Scouting the Tribe:
- William & Mary placed third at the Colonial Athletic Association Championship on Oct. 28. The finish continued the Tribe's 35-year streak of placing in the top three at the league meet.

- Sophomore Jacob Jones led the way for the Tribe at the league championship, placing 14th in 25:23.00 and capturing All-CAA honors for the second straight year.

- Jones also set the tone for W&M at last year's Regional, finishing 44th overall in a time of 30:33.4. It was the fastest time for a CAA runner competing across all the regionals on the day. He also improved his position during each 1000m segment, starting at 61st and finishing at 44th.

- All nine W&M harriers placed in the top-50 at the CAA Championship. Sophomore Nate Jennings was second for the Green and Gold, placing 20th overall in 25:37.10. He was also the Tribe's No. 2 finisher (91st overall) at the Virginia XC23 Meet in October.

- A quartet of Tribe runners all placed within steps of one another at CAAs as graduate student T.J. Corliss, freshman Luke Ellwood, sophomore Sam Pritchard, and graduate student Evan Goodell finished 31st through 34th. The group all finished in a 13-second span.

- Following the NCAA Regionals, the top 31 Division I teams will have the chance to compete at the 2022 NCAA Championships on Nov. 19 at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Ok.
