DAVIDSON, N.C. – Graduate student Ethan Mangum highlighted William & Mary men's golf's performance on the first day of the River Run Collegiate. Mangum sits in a tie for 15th place after a 1-over par 145 through two rounds.
 
The Tribe shot a 297 in the opening round and sat in fifth place. The Green and Gold ended round two in a tie for ninth following a 304. Charlotte leads the field after a 36-hole, 7-under par 569.
                                                                 
Mangum opened with his second under-par round as a member of the Tribe, shooting a 1-under 71 thanks to five birdies. He shot a 2-over 74 in the second round.
 
Junior Trevor Binau sits in a tie for 29th place after a 6-over par 150. He opened with a 2-over 74 before finishing round two with a 76.
 
Freshman Logan Hunter, who opened with a 2-over par 74, is tied for 45th with a 152. Junior Jimmy Taylor and sophomore Will Rieck round out the Tribe lineup in a tie for 68th at 159.
 
The Tribe tees off in round three, beginning at 8:05 a.m. from hole 10 at the River Run Country Club on Tuesday.
