Volleyball Adds Cramer To Incoming Class

WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- William & Mary volleyball has added incoming freshman Madeline Cramer to the 2021 roster as announced by coach Tim Doyle Tuesday afternoon. The 5'11'' Boca Raton native will add depth to the outside hitter position for the Tribe this fall.

The four-year player at Saint Andrews School was named Varsity Volleyball Offensive Attacker of the Year as a junior. Cramer was also named South Florida Sun Sentinel Volleyball All-County and was a team captain in her senior season.

Over her career at Saint Andrews, Cramer accumulated 283 kills in just 153 total sets played. The outside hitter also racked up 187 digs, 61 blocks, and 55 service aces. A star off the court, Cramer was a 2020 member of the AAU Volleyball Academic All-American team and a Florida Athletic Coaches Association Academic Award winner.

Coach Doyle on Madeline Cramer:

I'm really excited to add Madeline to our 2021 incoming class. We feel lucky to have found such a great match so late in the recruiting year. Madeline has a heavy arm and will be a great play-ender for us. We're eager to develop her into a power 6-rotation player but she's versatile enough to play anywhere on the net straight away. Everyone we met with about Madeline echoed what you figure out spending just a few minutes with her: she's humble, willing to put in the work, and motivated to be the best. She'll be right at home in Williamsburg.
