Three Volleyball Players Earn Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. — William & Mary volleyball players Kaitlyn Dunnigan, Katherine Arnason, and Audrey Brcka were selected to the CSC Academic All-District team, the organization announced Monday afternoon.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
 
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

Kaitlyn Dunnigan
Major: Finance

Played in 95 sets across 27 matches with six starts... For the season, totaled 120 digs, 16 assists, and six service aces… Tallied nine digs and a pair of service aces in a winning effort against Charleston on Nov. 8... Tied a career-high with three service aces in the season-ending win at Hampton on Nov. 16.

Katherine Arnason
Major: Public Policy

Played in 99 sets across 27 matches, making 17 starts... Totaled 250 kills, 298.0 points, and 76.0 blocks for the season, ranking second on the team, along with 85 digs... Averaged 2.53 kills per set... Recorded a career-high nine blocks against Davidson on Aug. 30... Poured in a career-best 19 kills in a loss to Maryland on Sep. 6... Led the Tribe with 15 kills in a five-set victory over Northeastern on Oct. 24… Posted 15 kills and blocked six attempts in a win vs. Charleston on Nov. 8.

Audrey Brcka
Major: Psychology

Appeared in 99 sets over 27 matches with 24 starts... Led the team with 268 kills and 309.0 points... Added 20 service aces, 141 digs, and 38 blocks... Averaged 2.71 kills per set... Posted a streak of eight straight matches with double-digit kills from Oct. 17-Nov. 8... Registered back-to-back double-doubles against North Carolina A&T (Oct. 18) and Northeastern (Oct. 24)... Notched a career-high 18 kills in a comeback win over Charleston on Nov. 8... Ended the year with an 11-kill outing in a three-set win at Hampton on Nov. 16.
