Sarah Houle (Sandy Hook, Conn.) was named to the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golf All-Conference team on Thursday, following an outstanding year on the links for the Tribe. The league office announced five women on each of the first- and second-teams, as well as Player, Coach, and Rookie of the Year, based on a vote of the conference coaches.
Houle led the Tribe for the second year in a row, and carried a 76.27 stroke average while appearing in all five events this spring. That was the 12th-best single season average in school history. She also had a 237-31 (.884) head-to-head average, the third-best winning percentage ever at W&M. Houle tied for seventh overall at the CAA Championships in mid-April, and also tied for 17th at the Kiawah Island Classic at the beginning of March. She also finished fifth in the first dual meet against Richmond, and sixth in the second. This is the first all-conference award of Houle's career, and the first for W&M since the 2017-18 season.
