Matt McDermott led off the top of the fourth with a double into left center but the Tribe was unable to push him around to score. The Cougars would mirror the effort in the home half of the fourth leading off with a double, but Tsakounis was able to retire the following three batters to keep the score knotted at zero.

The Tribe would answer in their half of the sixth as
Ben Williamson pushed a single into left center. The bases would load after McDermott walked and

Charleston would take advantage of three free passes to open up 7-1 lead putting up four runs in the sixth inning. That would be the last of the scoring as the Cougars took the opening game by a 7-1 score.
The Tribe battled in the second game but were not able to overcome a tumultuous sixth and seventh inning as College of Charleston prevailed in the nightcap 6-4.
After the first 10 Tribe hitters were retired to begin the second contests, McDermott swatted a single in the fourth and was followed by a Cone walk but W&M would not be able to push a run across.
In the fifth Matt Trehub singled and moved to second on
David Hogarth's sacrifice bunt and take third on
Joe Delossantos' single to center. After Delossantos stole second, Williamson swatted a double to right field to score a pair and give the Tribe a 2-0 lead.
The Cougars answered in the home half of the fifth inning plating a pair of runs to tie the game at 2-2. But the Tribe came back in the sixth as Cone singled and moved to third on
Hunter Hart's single. Cone came around as Matt Trehub laced a single to right center and Hart would score on Hogarth's sac fly to deep right.
But the lead would not last long as Charleston would come all the way back to take the lead in the bottom half of the sixth 5-4. The Cougars would add a another run in the seventh on a pair of hits to extend the lead to two. That would be all the Cougars would need as they took a 6-4 win despite
