- The Tribe is coming off its second COVID-19 pause of the season. W&M had its last four CAA games postponed after going on pause on Feb. 1 following a two-game sweep at Towson. In total, the Tribe has had nine games canceled or postponed and four others reschedule or added due to COVID-19.

- Freshman Connor Kochera led the Tribe to a series sweep of Towson, averaging 26.5 points and seven rebounds per game in two games against the Tigers. For his efforts, Kochera became the first freshman to be named CAA Player of the Week since 2015 on Feb. 1. A day later, he was selected as the CBS Sports/United States Basketball Writers Association National Freshman of the Week.

- As the Tribe's lone scholarship senior, Luke Loewe has stepped into a starring role. In CAA play, he ranks fourth in the league in scoring at 17.8 points per game, while coming in sixth in all games at 16.9 per contest. Loewe leads the CAA and ranks 76th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1). He is also fourth in the league in minutes (36.0), steals (1.6), free throw % (84.3) and sixth in assists (3.5). He scored a career-high 27 at Hofstra, one of his five 20-point games this season.

- Over the last our games, Kochera has been on a tear, producing a trio of 20-point games and averaging 21.8 points per contest, while shooting 63.6% (28-of-44) from the floor and 82.8% (24-of-29) from the free throw line. In the Tribe's 75-74 win over Towson on Jan. 31, Kochera produced the only 30-point, 10-rebound double-double by a freshman in the country this season with 30 points and 12 rebounds. He also became the seventh freshman in program history and first since 2001 to tally 30 point in a game.

- Kochera leads all CAA freshmen in scoring and ranks 14th overall in the league at 13.6. That number ranks 17th nationally among freshmen. In CAA games only, he is 10th in the league at 15.4 points per game.  His season scoring average is the best for a Tribe freshman since 1993 and fourth highest overall.

- The Tribe ranks among the national top 50 in free throw shooting and have been even better of late. Over the last four games, W&M is shooting 83.5% (66-of-79) from the charity stripe, including an impressive 20-of-22 effort in its 84-74 win over Towson on Jan. 30. The Green and Gold ranks third in the CAA and 49th nationally at 75.2%, which is also the fourth-best percentage in school history. In CAA play, the Tribe has been even better at 78.5% at the charity stripe.

- The Green and Gold has played 10 of its 13 games in 2020-21 on the road. W&M is 5-5 on the road, which is tied for the most road wins in the CAA with Hofstra. W&M also limits foes to just 30.8% shooting from 3-point range, which is third in the CAA and 57th nationally in 3-point % defense.
