Baseball Releases 2021 Schedule

WILLIAMSBURG, VA.- With the season just around the corner, head coach Brian Murphy announced the Tribe's 2021 baseball schedule this morning. William & Mary is scheduled to play a 39-game slate highlighted by 27 games at Plumeri Park.

The Tribe will play 24 games, 12 at home and 12 on the road against CAA foes, College of Charleston, Elon, James Madison, and UNCW. The Green and Gold will not face the CAA's northern most teams until the conference tournament in an attempt to limit travel.

Murphy's club will kick off the 2021 campaign on the road on Feb. 27 for the first of three games with the Charlotte 49ers. Sunday Feb. 28 will feature a double-billing between W&M and Charlotte in what is scheduled to be the Tribe's first of 10 doubleheaders this season.

The ball club will return to Plumeri Park the following weekend for the Friday March 5 home-opener against Richmond and a March 6 home matchup with George Mason. After a Sunday trip to Richmond to play VCU and a home date with ODU on March 10, the Tribe will begin CAA play with a trip to South Carolina to face the College of Charleston for a three-game set beginning March 12.

A Saturday, March 20 doubleheader with UNCW at Plumeri Park will mark the Tribe's CAA home-opener. The Green and Gold will host Elon, April 17-18, JMU, April 24-25, and close out home CAA play against Charleston May 7-8.

The Tribe will play a pair of midweek games against ACC powers as the team will travel to Charlottesville April 6 for a date with Virginia and head to Durham May 4 to face Duke.

W&M has not made a determination regarding attendance at home events during the spring season. When made, a decision will be based on state, local and campus guidelines.
