WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary women's basketball team will return home to host Hampton University on Monday, Nov. 29. Tip-off time between the Tribe and the Pirates is set for 7 p.m. Monday's game will be streamed on
FloHoops.

- William & Mary will face Hampton Monday night in Kaplan Arena. The Tribe and Pirates are familiar foes, facing off 21 times over the years, despite not playing one another since the 2009 season.
- The Tribe's defense has been a key to early season success. William & Mary is holding the opposition to 56.4 points per game, second in the CAA. The Green and Gold lead the CAA and rank seventh nationally holding teams to 18.6% from three.
- The Tribe returns two starters from last season, while adding six newcomers to the roster.

Riley Casey has scored double digits in each of the last three outings. In her last game, Casey scored 16 knocking down three triples in the win over UMES. The Tennessee native ranks third in 3-point field-goals made in the CAA at 2.50 per game shooting at a 40.6% clip.
- Sharing the ball has been paramount to the Tribe's success on the offensive end. The team ranks first in the league and 44th nationally with 16.8 assists per game.
Sydney Wagner,
Riley Casey, and
Kate Sramac each have at least 10 assists this season.
- Graduate student Riley Casey spent her first three collegiate seasons playing for Columbia, before joining the Tribe for graduate school. During her time in New York, Casey played 1750 minutes and scored 644 points. The Tennessee native averaged over 10.5 points per game over 61 contests.
- Graduate Student Kate Sramac stuffed the stat sheet over three seasons with Cornell before coming to Williamsburg. While in Ithaca, Sramac recorded 747 minutes and scored 176 points. Sramac added 98 rebounds, 67 assists, and 48 steals with the Big Red.
The Tribe has had a pair of sharpshooters in the early going this season.
Bre Bellamy leads the CAA and ranks 21st in the NCAA with a 62.5% mark from the field while
Riley Casey is shooting 40% from behind the three-point line, good for second in the conference.
- W&M head coach Ed Swanson enjoyed a noteworthy 2019-20 season individually. He was named the CAA Co-Coach of the Year following the Tribe's historic season. Swanson won his 500th career game on Nov. 26, became just the third coach in W&M history to win 100 games with the Tribe on Jan. 12, and was inducted into the Northeast Conference Hall of Fame in January.
- A trio of Tribe upperclassmen have been active on the defensive end this season.

Kate Sramac (1.6) all rank in the top 15 in the CAA in steals per contest.

Sydney Wagner ranked in the top-10 in the nation, playing 38.5 minutes per game. This year, Wagner and
Riley Casey are tied for seventh in the CAA playing 35.0 minutes per contest. Wagner played all 40 minutes last time out at UMES.
