Bronson Yoder earned
2020 Preseason All-America honors from HERO Sports on Thursday afternoon.
A third-team selection on special teams, Yoder returns to the Tribe after earning freshman All-America accolades from multiple organizations (HERO Sports and Phil Steele) last season.
In addition to posting a single-season school-record 913 kickoff return yards, which ranked second in the country, his two kickoff returns for touchdowns ranked tied for first nationally. Additionally, he ranked 11th nationally in kickoff return average (26.9), which ranks third in school history.
The safety transitioned to the offensive side of the ball midway through the season and ranked sixth in the CAA in all-purpose yards per game (112.2). He also ranked third on the team in rushing (375 yards) and averaged 5.9 yards per carry.
