GREENVILLE, N.C. – The William & Mary women's golf team fired a 624 (+48) in the first two rounds of the Pirate Collegiate Classic on Monday. The Tribe shot a 313 (+25) in the first round, before improving to a 311(+23) the second time through.
 
Freshman Cindy Zhou continued her impressive start to her collegiate career as she again led the Tribe with a 144 (+9) to be in a tie for 21st. Zhou tied for a team-low in the first round with a 78 (+6) in the first round, before shooting the squad's best score of the day with a 75 (+3) the second time through.
 
Senior Allison Olberding and junior Madison Braman are just behind Zhou has they each carded 78's (+6) in both rounds. Their 156 (+12) is good for tie for 31st in the event.
 
Notes
Freshman Mimi Taylor made her scoring lineup debut in the event ... Taylor is tied for third in the event with 24 pars ... Classmate Cindy Zhou is tied for third in birdies in the tournament with seven.
