DAVIDSON, N.C. –The William & Mary men's golf team carded a 597 (+21) in the first two rounds of the River Run Collegiate hosted by Davidson on Monday. The Tribe shot a 294 (+6) in the first round, before a 303 (+15) in the second round.
 
Senior Ben Morris and freshman Jimmy Taylor have the Tribe's best scores of 147 (+3) after the first two rounds. Morris shot a 70 (-2), which was the Green and Gold's best score of the day, in the first round to go with a 77 (+5) in the second. Taylor had a 75 (+3) in the first go through, and then carded a 72 even par in the second round.
 
Morris' first round 70 (-2) was one of three Tribe rounds at or below par. Taylor went even in the second round, while junior Otto Voettiner was also under par in the first round with a 71 (-1).
