Former Tribe Baseball Standout Cullen Large Named Florida State League All-Star

DUNEDIN, Fla. – Former William & Mary baseball standout Cullen Large was named to the Florida State League All Star Team. He will represent the North Division in the game, which will be played on Saturday, June 14 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Palm Beach, Fla.
 
After coming off an injury in 2018, Large has batted .293 (49-for-167) in 48 games, which is already the most game he has played in a single-season. He has added 13 doubles, three triples, four homers, 26 RBI, and 35 runs scored. For his minor league career, he owns a .284 batting average (110-for-388) with 30 doubles, four triples, nine homers, and 51 RBI in 109 pro games.
 
Large was drafted out of W&M by the Toronto Blue Jays organization in the fifth round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He rounded out his Tribe career with a .323 batting average (225-for-697) adding 48 doubles, five triples, 16 homers, and 113 RBI. In just three years, the Midlothian, Va. native ranks 11th all-time in hits (225), tied for 13th in doubles (48), and 15th in total bases (331).
