WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Check out the game highlights from William & Mary men's basketball's home-opening 78-65 win over Hampton on Friday. The Tribe used a 14-1 run and held the Pirates without a field goal for a seven-minute second-half stretch in pulling way. W&M improved to 4-0 for the first time since 1992-93 and only the second time in the last 60 years. The highlights are available above or by clicking HERE.
 
Senior Andy Van Vliet and graduate student guard Bryce Barnes led the Tribe with career-high performances. Van Vliet recorded his second double-double in the last three games with 22 points on 10-of-13 from the field and 12 rebounds. Barnes netted 17 of his career-high 21 points in the first half, shooting 8-of-10 from the floor and added a career-high seven assists. Defensively, the Tribe limited 37.7% shooting, while connecting on 54.5% from the floor and 9-of-19 (47.4%).
