- For the third straight week and the fourth time this season W&M claimed a weekly award as freshman Eva Hodgson earned her second CAA Rookie of the Week award after averaging 17.0 points per game on 10-of-18 from the floor in the first two conference games. Senior Bianca Boggs was named the CAA Player of the Week last week, and Krause earned rookie of the week on Dec. 24.

- Senior Bianca Boggs enters today's game with a streak of three-straight games with 20, or more, points. She is just the 13th player in school history to accomplish that feat, and has eclipsed 20 points five times this year and 12 times in her career.  If she scores 20, or more, today she will match the second longest streak in school history. The 12 20-point games rank her 10th in W&M school history.

- W&M is hitting 3-pointers at the highest clip under Ed Swanson this season. The Tribe is hitting 7.1 3-pointers per game, which ranks second in the league, and is nearly two more 3-pointers per game then any other year under Swanson. The Tribe is shooting 34.5-percent, which is third in the CAA.

- Since starting to come off of the bench redshirt sophomore Harper Birdsong has been a huge spark. She has been in double-figures in six of the last seven games and is averaging 12.8 points per game since starting to come off of the bench. The George Washington transfer is now the second-leading scorer on the team, averaging 11.2 points per game. Her 42.4-percent from 3-point range ranks second in the CAA and 40th in the country.

- W&M has been clamping down on the defensive end of the floor of late as it has held four opponents to 50 points, or less this season. The Tribe has also limited seven of the last nine teams to fewer than 60 points. In Swanson's tenure the Tribe has posted a 20-2 record in games when its opponents have scored 50 points, or less. In this stretch, W&M has lowered its points against to 61.8, which ranks fourth in the CAA.

- Boggs was announced as one of 30 national candidates for the Senior CLASS Award. The Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities. Boggs was the lone player from CAA women's basketball honored, and along with men's basketball player Paul Rowely, W&M was one of three DI schools with a candidate for the both the men's and women's Senior CLASS Award.

- Hodgson has started every game this season and the early returns on the rookie point guard have been good. The freshman has been in double-figures in six games, including three in a row, and is averaging 9.1 points per game (second most among CAA freshman), with 2.5 rebounds, and 3.2 helpers per contest. Hodgson scored a career-high 18 points in the CAA opener at Hofstra.

- Boggs has been in double-figures in 11 of 13 games this season, and has accomplished that feat in 36 of her last 43 contests. Boggs was selected to the Preseason All-CAA First-Team after a breakout junior season. The senior captain leads the team with 16.9 points per night, and has added 6.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists per night. She ranks in the top 10 in the nine of the CAA's 13 recorded individual stats.  She is one of six players nationally to lead her team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks as of Jan. 8.
